Join us for the 3rd Talking With Beasts - our monthly ecologically-focused reading group at Well Projects. Our group seeks to use the arts to navigate the ongoing destruction of the living world, and also look at the deep cultural roots of this crisis we're facing.
This time, we'll be looking at texts relating to speciesism - primarily, some of Timothy Morton's 'Humankind', along with John Berger's 'Why look at animals?', and Donna Haraway's 'When species meet'.
You can sign up to our group by emailing email@example.com and receive links to the suggested reading. As before, we welcome any other work and ideas you'd like to bring along and do feel free to attend even if you haven't have time to read in advance. All welcome!
